Portobello is a village of 594 people along the Otago Peninsula located about a 25-minute drive from Dunedin city centre along a scenic seaside road.

Some of the iconic features of Portobello are the Historical Society Museum, the 1908 Restaurant, the old Portobello Hotel and several accommodation providers.
